Meet Lindsey
Lindsey is the permanent makeup half of The Fine Line, and she's brought a serious obsession with brows, lips, and lash lines to everything she does. What started as a love of makeup turned into something bigger: the chance to give people something they wake up to every morning already feeling like themselves.
Her approach is all about that fine line between bold and natural — soft enough to look effortless, defined enough to make a difference. Every set of powder brows, every lip blush, every stroke of permanent eyeliner is mapped to your features and the way you actually want to look.
Booking with Lindsey means warm, unhurried attention and someone genuinely excited to do the work. Come as you are and leave looking like the best version of you.

Frequently Asked Questions
General
What is permanent makeup?
Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattooing procedure where pigment is strategically implanted into the skin, creating long-lasting and natural enhancements. Unlike traditional tattooing, the pigments are deposited at a more superficial layer of the skin. They are designed to soften, and fade lightly over time — rather than stay permanently bold.
How long does it last?
When you book for permanent makeup, each service is broken down into 2 appointments (the foundation, and perfecting session). The 2 procedures are roughly 6-8 weeks apart in order to allow the skin to fully heal. Results after your perfecting session can last anywhere between 1-3 years, but annual touch ups are encouraged to keep the work looking fresh and maintained.
Pre-care / Aftercare
Pre-care and aftercare are crucial in order to get the best investment out of your treatments. How the skin is cared for before and after the procedures directly affects pigment retention, color accuracy, and determines the healed results of the work. Not following suggested protocol can result in:
- Patchy or loss of pigment
- Blurred lines
- Uneven color
- Prolonged swelling or infections
- The need for multiple correction sessions
How do I know if permanent makeup is right for me?
These enhancements are ideal for clients who are looking for an effortless and low-maintenance confidence boost. Whether you apply makeup everyday, or not at all, each service is carefully tailored and crafted to your specific goals and desired results. Key benefits of permanent makeup include:
- Taking that extra step off of your getting ready routine
- Smudge-proof, long lasting, and low maintenance
- Hair loss and thinning on brows or eyelashes
- Asymmetry concerns
- Disabilities that make applying makeup difficult
- Achieving a polished, yet put-together look 24/7
You may not be eligible for PMU if you are pregnant, nursing, undergoing chemotherapy, have certain skin conditions or autoimmune disorders, active infections, uncontrolled diabetes, or are prone to keloid scarring. A consultation is always required.
Does it hurt?
Most clients experience little to no discomfort! A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure to ensure you are relaxed! Minimal swelling, tenderness, or redness can be present immediately after the treatment, but will subside between the next 24-48 hours.
Can I bring family or a friend?
In order to maintain a clean, calm, and focused environment, I kindly ask that you don't bring guests, or children, along to your appointment unless previously approved. Limited space is a leading factor for this request!
Brows
What are powder brows?
This specific technique involves depositing tiny pixels of pigment into the skin. Results are soft, airy, shaded, and can be worn on anyone!
How long does it take to heal?
Active healing can last anywhere between 1-2 weeks. That is where they will go through a process of oxidation and light flaking. Full heal time is a minimum of 4-8 weeks, depending on the client.
What does the brow process look like?
On the day of the first appointment, we work together to combine your goals, expectations, desired results, and maintenance routine. Topical numbing is applied while we discuss shape, color, and questions throughout the process. Together we will map out your custom fitted brows and make any adjustments that are needed. After covering all bases, the tattoo process begins! Secondary numbing is provided once the skin is broken, and from there pigment is carefully layered into the skin. Instructions and supplies for aftercare will be provided at the end of your appointment!
How much does it cost?
A $75 non-refundable deposit is collected at the time of booking in order to secure your appointment times. Initial brow appointments are listed at $300, and 6 week touch ups are $150.
Lash Enhancement
What is a lash enhancement?
This technique is done by placing the pigment at the base of the eyelids, only where the eyelashes are present. It is precise and subtle, leaving you with defined eyes and a fuller looking lash line.
Can I wear lash extensions?
Yes! In order to get the procedure done, lash extensions must be removed at least 1 week before. Once fully healed, they may be applied again.
How long does it take to heal?
Active healing can last anywhere between 1-2 weeks. That is where they will go through a process of oxidation and light flaking. Full heal time is a minimum of 4-8 weeks, depending on the client.
What does the eyeliner process look like?
It is recommended to come with no makeup and clean skin. Additional work on the eyes can lead to sensitivity, more swelling or irritation, and will cut down the overall appointment time. Topical numbing is initially applied, and once the skin is broken additional numbing is provided. Mapping is not required for this technique, due to the pigment only being placed where your natural lash line follows! Eyes will remain closed for the entirety of the procedure, and aftercare instructions and supplies will be provided at the end of your appointment!
How much does it cost?
A $75 non refundable deposit will be collected at the time of booking in order to secure your appointment times. Day of the initial procedure is listed at $250 and the 6 week touch up at $150.
Lip Blushing
What is lip blushing?
This technique involves placing tiny pixels of pigment into the lip tissue. It is not meant to replace your red lipstick, instead it gives the appearance of a naturally flushed, lightly defined, and symmetrical palette.
What if I have lip filler?
Even better! Filler and blushing are a power duo. Smoothing out fine lines only makes for a cleaner and evenly saturated application. It is recommended to have filler done prior to lip blushing, as opposed to the opposite.
Can you make my lips look bigger?
Although initial swelling will give the appearance of bigger lips, the pigment itself should never be tattooed outside of your vermilion border (the distinct line where the lip tissue and skin meet). This can result in patchy or uneven results, and low-quality results. Lip blushing = color, balance, and definition. Filler = fullness, volume, and improved texture.
How long does it take to heal?
Active healing can last anywhere between 1-2 weeks. That is where they will go through a process of oxidation and light flaking. Pigments will continue to settle under the skin, leaving full heal time at a minimum of 4-8 weeks, depending on the client.

I kindly request a 24 hour notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. I understand the curveballs of life, and allow one appointment reschedule with proper notice. Additional reschedules may require a new deposit.
