Taylor is the tattoo half of The Fine Line — a tattoo artist and piercer whose specialty is right there in the studio name. Fineline is his home base: delicate botanicals, birds, script, and detail work with a steady hand.
But he doesn't stay in one lane. His work runs from soft black and grey portraits to painterly color to darker, moodier pieces — all styles welcome. Bring your idea; he'll draw it to fit you.

How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment by sending me a message on Instagram or by emailing me at tatermods@gmail.com. I'll get back to you as soon as I can to discuss your idea and schedule a date.
How much is the deposit, and is it refundable?
A $50 deposit is required to reserve your appointment and will be applied toward the total cost of your tattoo. If you cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice, your deposit can be refunded or applied to your new appointment.
How much do tattoos cost?
Every tattoo is different, so I prefer to quote each piece individually based on size, detail, and placement. My hourly rate is $125 per hour.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. With proper notice, your deposit can be refunded or transferred to a new appointment, depending on availability.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept cash, Cash App, Apple Pay, Venmo, and Zelle.
Your Appointment
When will I see my design?
I usually enjoy designing your tattoo together at your appointment. This allows you to give input throughout the process so we can create something you'll truly love.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Be sure to eat a good meal before your appointment, stay hydrated, and avoid drinking alcohol the night before. Arriving well-rested and comfortable will help make your session go more smoothly.
Can I use numbing cream?
Absolutely! I have over three years of experience tattooing on skin treated with numbing products. While I'm happy to work with clients who choose to use numbing cream, I've found that the best results often come from tattooing long enough to break the skin first, then applying a professional numbing spray to keep you comfortable for the remainder of the session.
It's also important to know that some people can have allergic or skin reactions to certain numbing creams. I always recommend testing the product on a small, quarter-sized area of skin at least 24 hours before your appointment to make sure you don't have an adverse reaction. If you have any questions about which products are safe or effective, feel free to ask before your appointment.
Can I bring a guest?
Of course! You're welcome to bring a guest with you to your appointment.
Aftercare & Touch-Ups
What aftercare do you recommend?
Wash your tattoo gently with an antibacterial soap and apply a fragrance-free lotion 3–5 times a day for the first five days. After that, continue moisturizing daily to keep your tattoo looking its best.
One of the biggest things I remind my clients is don't pick or scratch your tattoo, even if it starts to itch. Let any flakes or scabs come off naturally to ensure the best possible healing. When applying moisturizer, use only a thin layer — your goal is simply to rehydrate the skin, not to smother it. Too much lotion can slow the healing process.
Do you offer free touch-ups?
Yes! I offer one free touch up on all tattoos that I have done, for the first six months, provided they have been properly cared for during healing.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes. It should be noted that cover-up tattoos require significantly more planning and design work before your appointment. Because of the additional time involved in preparing the artwork, cover-ups often require a larger, non-refundable deposit.
